The Centered Space

The Centered Space

Therapy should never feel confusing, disconnected or generic.

The Centered Space was founded by speech pathologist Haylee Murphy to give children, adults and families across Australia a different experience of care.

Our mission is to remove the barriers that stand between families and the right support.

Around your family is one team: speech pathologists, occupational therapists, key workers and educators who plan your support together.

What brings you here?

I am worried about my child’s speech or communication

We have an NDIS plan and are not sure where to start

My child needs occupational therapy support

I am a Support Coordinator looking for assessments or a provider I can rely on

I am a clinician curious about working differently

What We Do

Our team includes speech pathologists, occupational therapists, specialist educators, key workers and allied health assistants who collaborate to provide integrated care tailored to your needs.

Holistic Support

We partner with community affiliates, including naturopaths, yoga instructors, and music therapists, to ensure that every aspect of your well-being is supported.

National Reach

We are scaling our services across Australia, committed to ensuring that everyone, no matter where they live, has access to the support they need to thrive.

Our Story

Our Story

The Centered Space was founded by Haylee Murphy after seeing firsthand how hard families have to work to get quality care. We are committed to removing the obstacles that stand in the way. Our team of dedicated professionals, including therapists and community partners, work together to provide the support your family actually needs.

Australia’s disability reforms are moving toward earlier intervention, support built into everyday life, and one consistent key worker for each family. That is the model this practice was built on. We were running quarterly blocks and regular goal reviews before they were asked of providers, and every clinician on our team is a trained key worker.

Behind every family is the whole team: fortnightly cross-discipline case conferences, quarterly whole-team case reviews, weekly sessions with our in-house NDIS specialist, and individual supervision for every clinician.
